Trying to finish up the install of the SSO Slimline bumper this afternoon and ran into an issue I can’t figure out.

I’m at the point of the final two bolts going through the painted plastic, the black plastic and the SSO bracket.

Having difficulty aligning all three holes to get the bolt in, the painted plastic looks like it needs to be pulled about an inch or so to align and that’s proving to be a difficult pull.

Ideas, tips and suggestions welcomed. Planning to call SSO tomorrow but thought someone here had probably already crossed this bridge.

    Thanks.

    Non yet.
I had to cut the inner fender a little where it will go around the bottom bumper mount.

There’s a couple. Anything in particular you want to see?

Are you adding a winch as well?

Looking good. Heavy is it with the winch?

I believe 150ish for bumper and winch, but some parts are removed and not reinstalled.

    Probably 135-140 net weight gain.

Ah ok. Any plans to upgrade the springs to help with the added weight?

I want to eventually get this bumper with a winch.

That’s a good question, I’m educating myself on that now.

The thread linked in post #3 (sorry, not sure how to post link) gets into springs, but I don’t know enough to know if I’ll need to. I seem to remember lots of folks in that post on both sides of the spring question.

Edit to add/ I can’t tell any difference in driving behavior, and didn’t take before and after measurements for droop.
