Hi everyone, I seek your input on tire choice. I bought a new 2019 Off Road a month ago and have been regularly exceeding the capabilities of stock tires. I like the idea of better traction in mud, but also do not want excessive noise. Coopers are supposed to be pretty good in the slop, but just how much would I be giving up to the Toyos? Size will be 255/85, mounted on stock wheels. Truck was purchased for wheeling and the first scratches came at 562 miles. I will need to drive on pavement to get to the trails. Please chime in if you have an opinion here. Thanks!

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
I like my STMaxx. Road noise is quite tolerable.

Has anyone here driven both of these in mud? From the information I can find, the Coopers do very well in mud. That being said, I have to assume the larger voids between lugs on the Toyos offer more bite in deep mud. I lean towards the Coopers now just because of their more refined on-road manners and overall performance.
