    Would it be difficult to change them without jacking it up or putting on a lift.

    I dont know about third gens but every vehicle Ive ever seen needs to have the wheels removed for the links to be replaced, I suppose it could be possible to do on a few vehicles with the wheels still on but it would be a royal pain the the motherfucking ass.
