I read somewhere we needed new "crush washers" too to install the lines? Is this true and if so, what's the part number and how many do we need?

Yeah, brake lines. But I'm still wowed by the lift in the garage. That sir is badass. Love it! I have 10ft ceilings in my garage...guess what I'm dreamin of puttin in there, lol. Nice heads up tho for people like me who haven't actually installed the set. Bought them for my lifted truck but am still going to use them on the nonlifted truck...at some point.

No crush washers required, the braided lines attach to the stock hard lines at each end.

Just got done installing mine this evening.. did some EBC Yellow Stuff pads at the same time and even though the pads aren't even broken in yet the difference is significant. I think so far what I'm feeling I think is mostly from the lines but I'm also running 35's so my wheels and tires weigh like 70lbs a piece. As far as the install goes getting another set of stock retaining clips is a great idea! I'll have to pick some up, for now I just have them bent a bit and they're holding pretty well. The hardest part for me was getting the freaking lines off the upper brackets even with some liquid wrench.. I'm glad I'll never have to do them again that's for sure!

Are people still having fitment issues with these brake lines? I have a set ready to install, but I want to know if I should anticipate the same problems noted a year or two ago. I ordered six of the OEM clips mentioned in this thread from my local dealer in order to address the connector-to-bracket slop (if this problem still exists with current lines).

Has anyone who recently purchased these lines experienced the issues mentioned here from '11 and early '12? Or, have these quirks been corrected since the earlier posts?

I wish I would have seen this thread BEFORE buying!

I'd like to know if there are any fitment issues as well. I'm thinking of buying a set for my 2010 PreRunner.

    A thing or two...
I just ran into this issue with my front brake lines from the @OCTaco ongoing group buy.
