    Hey all
Is this a stainless exhaust and any advantage over stock non-stainless?

It’s for sale locally, for $25 so seems like a good deal if it’s advantageous to install.

It’s there a gasket where it attaches?

    Thanks for any input.

Looks stock to me or aluminized steel (aka somewhat rust resistant). I'd scoop it up if you need it for 25 bucks why not.

OP, you don't describe what you have but if it s a 2nd gen they all came originally from the factory with SS exhaust, albeit not the highest grade SS.

    Thanks for the info...
The exhaust in the pic is from a 2013 TRD.
I have a 2014 TRD and mine doesn’t look anything like the one in the pic, which is why I thought it might be stainless.

Is there a gasket needed if I do swap exhausts?

Yes, if you are doing just the muffler and the rear pipe there is one joint.
The OEM gaskets are $$ so I will give you the aftermarket that I use. There are also 2 springs, two bolts, and 2 spacers used to clamp the pipe to the front. The clamp stuff may be rusted and no longer usable.

    - Gasket, mfg. is Walker, Part No. is 61106
    - Flange Kit
, mfg. is Walker, Part No. is 36454

    Too few to list.
If you have the stock exhaust, it's already stainless steel. If you polish it, it will shine.

Maybe not the highest grade, but mine lasted 160k. If I could have found one for 25$ before dropping the coin on the TRD system I would have jumped on it.
OP - get it and hold onto it until you need it. Good deal.

    Thanks again
For some reason, I thought a stainless exhaust was an add on option...

Or maybe it was just the tip?
    Anyhow,I’m buying it at noon.
    Thanks again for the replies!
