    Hey all,
I've been lurking on TW for some time now. Im beside my self now that I came home with my new truck last night. I knew what I wanted for a truck and felt like I won the lottery when I pulled off the lot. Photos coming soon after this ice storm passes over.

    Thanks all!
Walked into the dealer, explained what we wanted for a Tacoma. He said they had a TRD with the third pedal. He had one being built and had an expected delivery of three weeks. He offered me the first test drive and first right of refusal. The day we test drove it we made a deal and by the end of the day there was five people making an offer on the truck that was already sold to us. After reading the forum and how long people been waiting for their Offroad manual transmission , We feel like the stars aligned for us and this taco. I can't tell you how much I love this track considering I downsized from a 2006 Dodge Cummins automatic.

Its surprising that nearly no dealers stock manual Tacoma's. In 2011 I went to dealers and couldn't find any Manuals with the options I wanted. Ended up with an auto but my sports car is a stick so I'm happy.

Dealer told me that they only manufacture about 6% in manual and only three in the double cab. When we were there they had an access cab and a sport double cab. My wife told the salesman that she was only going sign the papers if the track is manual, God bless her heart
