I have a bone stock 1996 Toyota Tacoma with a 2001 3rz fe engine and I've been chasing an issue for the past few weeks that i just cant figure out. The truck will start fine and then after a few minutes it will stall and not start again unless I wait 10-20 minutes and then it will run some more and do the same thing. It does this both when driving and when sitting and idling. I have replaced the mass airflow sensor, throttle position sensor, idle air control valve, and the crankshaft position sensor. I also installed the LC Engineering fuel pressure gauge earlier today and the truck holds at 40-44 psi of fuel pressure both when running and when it just cranks after it dies. I'm really stumped with this so any input would be greatly appreciated.

failing fuel pumps can struggle when they are hot which sounds like you letting it cool off for 10-20 minutes? see if you can hear the fuel pump when turning the ignition to on after it dies perhaps?

i have proper fuel pressure even when the truck is completely dead, does that not mean my fuel pump is doing its job?

Another common issue with these symptoms is crankshaft position sensor, but you replaced that. Another is ignition control module or ignition relay not staying closed. I'm as lost as you, but what you can do is try techniques that cut your troubleshooting in half and rule things out.

Cheap and simple test, the next time it dies while idling take a spark plug out immediatly and try to start her with the plug out, you wont hurt anything, if it starts with the spark plug out this indicates that there is an exhaust blockage.
