    Besides any apparent safety issues...
    Do you guys think the ARE MX shell can support my weight of 180 lbs while I stand on top of it to trim our tall hedges?

    Definitely not. If you had a platform rack like say a Baja or ARB that dispersed the weight then yes but otherwise you're putting too much weight in small areas (the size of your feet) and you're going to cause it to flex and crack the gel coating and possibly the fiberglass itself. They're chopper gun construction, not mat, and they don't have an internal frame for support.

    SOS armor, ARE MX walk-in, Fox coils, Dakar leafs, etc
    You're fine if you stay over the tracks where the roof rack mounts go. It's reinforced there.

    I wouldn't stand in the middle, there's less meat there.

    I have a rack on my MX and hop up there all the time to tie down lumber.
