Oh yeah. For the oil feed just use the port by the oil pressure sender. I think it's a allen screw.

We'll see. Right now I'm thinking not. Don't plan to go crazy on stock internals :notsure:

What piggy back are you using to tune, btw?

Chris... you got your truck back? If you have time send me a list of wires we connected and intercepted. Still looking for your issue.

I pick it up in about an hour and Ill check the pins we discussed to see if there is an alternate power source to use.

So I checked voltage with the ign on, engine off. E5-16 (where it is currently connected) and E5-7 dont have any voltage going through them.

    E5-2 has 12V's.

This doesn't make much sense. I dont konw about E-5 7 but E-5 16 should have 12V with IGN on... Maybe my prongs were too big to fit in the pin and get a good contact :notsure:

    Also did some work yesterday:

-Troubleshoot FIC ground [IMG] - IN PROGRESS
    ______-Mount FIC behind glove box
    -Turbo kit install
______-Need to figure out the water lines
______-Need to figure out the IC (got the mount figured, just need to make sure I have the proper plumbing
______-Still need to decide how to run the oil lines
    ______-Need to purchase exhaust parts
    -Trans cooler
    -Oil filter relocation
    -Catch can install DONE
-3 Piece Belly Skid plate install
    ______Drill frame for trans skid
    -Redo wiring/fuse plate
    -Rear shock relocation
    ______-Need metal plates/bar
    -Rear leafs/u-bolt flip
-Install new light bar and tire carrier
-Install new headlight and reverse light bulbs DONE
-Clean/Vacuum/shampoo interior. Had a slight water leak on driver side door. Replaced weather stripping but now a funky smell.

Ok this is bullshit. Anyone looking to buy this kit, dont. CxRacing customer service has been crap from the beginning. Emails unanswered, promised call backs never to hear a word, put on hold only to be dropped, etc...

When I ordered the kit, it did not come with an instruction and it took me two weeks of begging to finally get a .pdf file on the installation. The instructions suck and the level of detail is lacking. Further, the oil feed kit in the instructions is not included in the kit. They provide a "universal feed kit" but no installation instructions.

I called and the guy gave me two choices. Buy the original oil feed kit for an extra $20 (the one mentioned in the instructions) or figure the universal kit out my "damn self." Fuck these guys.

I rate the product and workmanship as a B+ from what Ive seen so far without installing yet, but cant in good conscience recommend this kit to anyone due to the shitty customer service.

This weekend is full since we went on vacation last week. I'll look into what you found and see if anything odd sticks out.

Do those banjo bolts, for the water lines, have copper washers with them?

I dont expect this turbo to last and I even figured on customer service to suck a bit. Never thought they would take a tested kit, add un-tested part and tell me to figure it out or buy the original part for extra. The reason the tech could give me install instructions for the oil feed was because he's never installed it on the 5VZ before and even admitted he wasn't sure it was compatible . What in the actual fuck are these morons smoking?

Im sure I could figure it out but it will probably require ordering adapter fittings and a very big headache. I emailed the supervisor and demanded he send me the original fucking part.
Yes. For the most part, the kit is pretty complete and well designed... :notsure:

Just tired of calling and emailing them for weeks just to get single question answered... This last phone call was about the maximum amount of stupid I could take.

Is there not an OEM oil pressure sensor, on your block somewhere? That would be a good place to get the feed from. If you don't know, Blackdog should. I certainly don't. Point is, that is where my feed comes from. I can post a picture for reference, if it helps?

Im sure that's were its supposed to fit. Im just not sure how or if the threads will fit. I don't think oil sensor threads are universal... :notsure:

    Here is the picture:

    P1020492_zps0c5c2dd4_17f5d50827592379546b375bfff7e22869704c50.jpg

The fitting with the two female threads is a pass through so Im guessing it mounts to the block and the side with no fitting is for the oil pressure sensor... Again, I don't like guessing and if the fittings aren't threaded right, Ill have to spend more time and money finding an adapter

It should be BPST. I used 1/8" NPT, and have not had one single problem. Primarily because I never knew what it was supposed to be when I got the STS kit. Then just stuck with it from there. Lol.

    Here is one picture.

For Clifford's, we couldn't find one like this. So we picked up a female Tee. Then a union 1/8" NPT adapter, to mimic the male end of mine.

I have no idea what the thread end of your hose is though. What I mean is, that is it threaded for 1/8" NPT, or AN?

When I have time, Ill look at the 5VZ and see what options I have but for now, its chasing down that FIC ground.

There should be a spot near the oil pressure sensor. I'll take a picture once I get back home from my trip.

Thanks man but I got some pics on the customtaco forums. Its also 1/8" NTP like Tor has but I don't think I have to remove the oil pressure sensor. Just a direct connect :yay:
