Lol you're funny dude. At this point I'm not sure which is better, being in good standing with the ladies or turbo tacos...

I got my garret, port fueler, AIC and injectors for $700.
    Headers $ downpipe $640
    Intake parts and intercooler $200
Magnaflow muffler and high flow cat $160
    Fittings and oil lines $40
3" stainless steel 5' long exhaust pipe $25.
Miscellaneous stuff like flanges, bolts, washers, check valves and SS welding rods was less than $50. $1800~ is a lot less than I thought it was going to be for a front mount.
EDIT: Forgot the wastegate... $130. So $2000~ total.

My cost breakdown looks something like this:

    Used Garrett T3/T4: $350

    CX Headers + Downpipe: $650

    TiAL 44mm Wastegate: $300

    Fabricating Exhaust After Downpipe: $250

Intake (no BOV or intercooler): $150

    DIY Water/Methanol Injection: $150

    Oil Lines & Fittings: $100

    Boost Gauge: $50?

Misc. Hardware, Fittings, Gaskets, Shit I Broke/Lost: $300-$500? You'll be surprised at how much miscellaneous crap you'll buy.

Hopefully get to install this spring!

The dude was a little desperate for money I guess. He also threw in a supra MAF and a mapECU2 for like $350 extra but Im not using those so I can sell them.

    Dayum 300-500 bucks??
And how did your intake parts cost so much??? Don't you have like 4 couplings and a couple feet of alumnum pipe tops?

I'll have to go back through all my invoices, but all the small ankle biter stuff adds up. Like the adapters from Treadstone to convert the 4-bolt 2.5" turbine outlet to 3" vband so that it matches up to the CX downpipe. Or the adapters needed for my wastegate to go from 2-bolt to vband. Some of the silicone elbows were pricey... Like the 2.75" to 3" 90 degree elbow to go from the intake to the throttle body. And the 2" to 3" 90 degree elbow that connects my compressor outlet to my intake pipe. Plus the cost of a good filter. All that stuff adds up, and that's all the stuff I'm remembering right off the top of my head. I bet if I go back and look I'll find lots more random stuff.

Turbo got delayed until Tuesday due to the winter weather according to FEDEX... This is getting silly.

Might as well go ahead and do my valve covers tomorrow I think...

Wow dude. I salvaged and fabricated everything I possibly could and also spent hours and days looking for the least expensive parts.... that's probably why it was less for me.

That blows. Yeah might as well so that you can clean up the engine real good and drench that baby with wd40 before the install.

FedEx came today but I didn't hear them knock at first. They left a card for a package and I knew exactly what it was. Ran them down and got my turbo :yay:

Did some work today. Got the driver side valve cover gasket done and working on the passenger side. Got all bolts and nuts off the exhaust and manifolds but one. Ill have to cut the cross over pipe; that will have to wait for Monday.

Some damage done today. Didn't have much time for camera work but here's what I got (forgot to get turbo pics but its noticeably smaller than the last one)

Down pipe with 3" to 2.25" adapters and a shit weld job  For 7$ good enough to get me to a shop for a nice 3" setup.

Got the wastegate mounted up. Didn't even bother with the shit gaskets; used the Cu based high temp FIPG.

    P1040263_zps596ae115_d2a54daf31658e8a03c821ed423915f6623dfbc0.jpg

Getting the FIPG off the URD port injector took entirely too much time. I put way too much on it when I installed; going to have to be careful this time.

Gio, not sure where how to hook up the oil feed. I have a good idea but can you snap some pictures? I may be in trouble; the kit doesn't look like it will reach.

Worst case scenario just order a length of SS braided line and in the mean time go to autozone and pick up extra oil line and hit up Home Depot for some barb fittings to be able to drive it around for now. How long is the feed line they send you?

I'll snap a pic of my feed tap tomorrow.

I just finished my exhaust today too. You should think about taking it on yourself and save some cash. I'm not sure how much they would charge you to fab it up at a shop but it was simply a straight line of cat, pipe, muffler, pipe, muffler, pipe, flex pipe and tip. All was 304 stainless steel including the welding rods so no rust problems for the life of the truck. Guaranteed a muffler shop uses the cheapest welding wire/rods they can use.
