I'd check your SSRI to transmission diagnostic ECU wire. Sounds like your transmission is dropping shift point codes as a result of incompatible SSRI programming at the dongle point. May also be an execute error in the rev sensor modulating code as the engine is reporting power incompatible with the shift point sensor programming for stock modulation.

Haha! Yeah right, you'd be selling the kit before you had a chance to drive it, and Ill still be in my garage getting "fixed."

The only clear answer I see to problems stated, is to sell the truck. It will save you any more agony, and save the truck from further to ture ;) ....... turn signal = boost cutout ??? Wtf ???

Hello, I have been following several turbo builds over the last couple months......am super new.....in fact this is my first post. However, I was really hoping for some help. I have about 3 to 4 grand in turbo parts awaiting a build. And yes, its happening! I have all the equipment in my garage and would love to show what I have if need be. Thank you.

    Very clever of you, thanks.
Post a build page and Ill try to help you as best as possible. Customtaco's is a better forum for turbo related questions though.

Just curious... If you look in your copy of Maximum Boost, does it reference any of the issues you're having ?

    Thanks man!

    Need some troubleshooting help.

When I picked it up from Production Offroad, had some bad idle, AFR's were high, etc...

On the way home, had some issues:

    -Trans would launch in 2nd
    -Trans lockup clutch wouldn't engage
-When it got stuck in 2nd gear at initial launch, the engine temp gauge would go squirrely and rise and lower with the engine speed. Once the trans shifted, the temp gauge would read correctly.

Got the engine codes read and had a bunch of shift solenoid codes and P1135 (A/F sensor) code.

I took the FIC unit off and that fixed the trans shifting for the most part. I had two instances; once the trans wouldn't go into reverse and the other the trans was in limp mode again. I also checked the dip stick and the fluid was ridiculously high. But both instances, shutting off the engine and restarting fixed the shift and today while the truck was running, the fluid level was perfect.

The P1135 didn't go away so I ordered a new A/F sensor. Initially the engine ran ok when I installed the new sensor but now I get the P1135 code again, rough idle, and 17-19 AFR's...

I'm thinking bad ECU but open to suggestions as well.

Yep. And with the AFRs reading that high. I'd say a big one. Like forgotten hose.

No he is running very lean. Not rich. Haha

The leak is post MAF. so it's not adding enough fuel because it doesn't know there is more air then it's reading.
