I work in a heavily concentrated field of h2s roughly 20-30% the wells are. the worst thing to get on you in the patch is called CANSWEET. its used for sweeting gas. once the odor mellows in concentration your clothes smell like weed and i have yet to get it out of my cab of my work truck. Try explaining that one to the cops!

Ram mounts are the best. There is a little spring to it bu it keeps the laptop from jarring over rough roads. No you can't close the cover all the way but it is easy to open it up and remove it. A person in the passenger seat can sit with a little discomfort. Thinkpads suck something awful, I go through at least three a year in my work environment. My new Dell has not shown up yet. But the Rammount is the best.

We buy computers by the caseload and still have a couple cases left and they still make them. I work in a very harsh environment and computers don't like that at all. Lease roads can rattle the teeth off a saw blade so hard drives, memory, and cable connections don't stand a chance.

What do you do that you are getting rigged up like this?

What type of bar are you using to hold up all the cables?

It is actually just a clothing bar I got at Wally world with Velcro straps from Radio shack.

    Wilson dual band Booster http://www.wilsonelectronics.com///////ViewProduct.php?ID=6
The booster is the best one around. I have tried others but this works without fail. We'll, I guess the only problem I have is I am never out of range ( 7000 minutes per month on my bill, thank God for my circle). It uses an interior antenna that will pick up your cell phone signal within a bout a three foot radius and boost the signal to around 3 watts (typical cell strength is around .6 watts). SO there is no hard connection to your phone. You can see the interior antenna on the front of the computer mount in the second pic.

Wow! Very nice set up! Finally a truck that looks like mine! You have to love the rear of the a/c. I like that I can get to my tools with ease . I like your mod of the bar mounted for hanging things.Where did you find it? Also you look like you are an installer of some sort. What do you do?Nice to see a truck being used for what it is! :D

The bar in the back is a clothing bar from Wal-Mart and I have it tucked into the rear seat belt slots. Not a lot of weight on it so I should be safe. I wish Toyota would have put in a couple of side clothing hooks.

Nice mount for the laptop! I have a ram mount on my bike for my gps and it rocks. They make great mounts.
