Started my Mods

Yeah, I know Im a little late but I started the mods on my Taco today. Ordered a K&N Intake, Flowmaster exhaust and A.R.E. LSII tonneau cover. Ill post pics as soon as I get these things installed. Next on the list are tires, step bars and possibly projector lights. Still unsure about the lights.

One question though. I am looking for the TRD Off Road decals that were on the 2008 rugged trail package. Any help would be great! I looked through buy/sell section with no luck. Possible that I overlooked it.

Definitely look into Sockmoney bedside decals... Costumize however you want!

I will definitely post pics. Another question though....Sorry for so many. I am throwing the idea around of taking the chrome emblems off the tailgate. What are your guys thoughts/opinions? Also, Mcdowell. How do you like the Firestone Destination M/T? I have read/heard mixed reviews about it.

 

I have heard the same thing but i think i have the only good set around. I bought them due to the great deal. $900.00 for the sport wheels and Firestone tires w/ seven hundred miles on them. The only complaint i can think of is they tend to follow ruts in the highway. Feels strange when your truck want to go with the ruts in asphalt driving 65mph.

 

I say go for it with removing the tailgate emblems! Fishing line and a hair dryer will give you the best results. You can always paint and/or put them back on.
