i nvr realized how difficult it is to change the starter on my tacoma with out using a lift. with normal ground clearance you really don't have much option to move around nd reach up to unbolt the starter nd install the new one

i got the 2.7L i had to take off the splash shield just to access it. i couldn't work with the ground clearance that i had so i put the taco on the lift and changed it out. it slid out and the new one slid in no biggie. i was easy once i figured out i needed a lift
