    Thinking about starting a local brewery or brew pub. Looking for advice if anyone has done such a thing or something similar.

    Vermont has a few that have done very well & started just as you want to...

    Rock Art is one that I've read about lately...husband/wife team who had to go through some pretty tough hurdles with trademark laws & have made national news. These guys are small but happy with what they are doing & down to earth.
