high starting to post more after having my 2015 v6 DCSB OR 6 weeks. More questions on the quirks. My truck turns over fine but doesn't catch immediately. If I stop turning over and try again it fires right up. Not all of the time but often. Anyone experience similar? Tx in advance.

Take it to the dealership. Don't try fixing it yourself.

The truck has a procedure it needs to go through before starting. You can't hurry the procedure. I doubt very much there is an issue. Turn the key on and wait a moment for the ecu to get it's inputs before cranking.
Mine has extended cranks on occasion.
If I was worried about it............

Ummm no. The procedure does not include wearing the starter out. And, I can leave the key on, sit and reflect how much a piece of shit the worthless Entune is, power scratch my balls, put my clothes back on and I have the same issue.

May of been my sarcasm :notsure:.
But, I think I understand it completely. Key in, turn key, starter turns over(for as long as you want to sit there and listen to it), turn key off, and back on to start and it fires right up.
He and I have similar issues with our 2015's. My 2011 did not have this issue. Not even close.

His word immediately is what I focused on.
If he has a long crank. Ie more than 3 seconds then by all means it should be checked. I was told by higher ups 2 seconds was not unusual due to the procedure being involved with the timing sensing check. Just relaying stuff.
Oh you might want to get some ointment. That scratchy ball symtom sounds nasty.. Lol.

These trucks have had issues similar to what your experiencing since at least 2007. I've read of it year after year here... not sure what the fix is nowdays. Happened to me two weeks after buying mine back in 07. They had a intermittant no-start tsb for the issue... never had the problem since.

So you had the TSB done? If so do you recall the details? Thanks.

Yep... got the work order right here. Had the truck for 2 weeks and had 166 miles on it. The TSB was EG011-07 for intermittant no-start condition... wouldn't start on first crank. The TSB recalibrated the ECM to correct problem. OP CODE EG5054 T1-01 T2-99 (not sure what those numbers mean.) After having the tsb done i've never had a problem since. From the posts i've read here alot of these trucks have had intermittant no start issues for at least 7 years.
To those that say you have to hold the key and wait before cranking i don't have to do that. After the tsb... insert key, turn, truck starts on first crank... every time.
