I have a 2003 Tacoma prerunner with the V6 in it and it won't start after it's been started a couple times and driven. It will roll over like a champ and try to fire but will not catch. It wants to run, gurgles a little and gives up! After awhile it will fire up and run as if there is nothing wrong. Could it be a fuel filter problem or what?

You need to determine if the problem it is fuel or spark. Get a can of eithjer starting fluid or carb cleaner and when she is a crank - no start take the brake booster vacuum line off and squirt a little into the hose going into the intake manifold. By a little I mean like 1/2 second worth, any more than that and you could cause another problem, crank her over and if she starts now you have a fuel problem. Do this a few more times to verify the test.

Does you truck have a tachometer and if so does it wiggle when you crank it over?
