Timing belt and water pump, plugs and wires, front seals, Uca, coils, shocks, clutch, swaybar bushings, fuel filter, slave cylinder, cv axles, and rear main seal. Very cool about cutting back on labor costs and bringing in my own parts. IMG_2294.jpg

You got lucky. I talked to the service manager. I ask if they would put struts and new coil springs on if I bring them in with the truck. He said they would only install part I buy from them. No after market parts. So I just ordered my struts and coil springs. I am going to install them the day before I take the truck to them. That way I can get a alignment.

I "shopped" for dealers. For months i took my truck to different dealers and inquired about the frame replacement. This dealer is actually about 4 hours from me

You were smart about it. I just went with the local dealer. I wish I has went somewhere else now. An they have not even done the truck yet. Just ordered the frame.

i know how you feel, went to the closest (30 min away) and they sucked ass. they got the job done but wouldnt add anything i have purchased for the truck while i was waiting on the frame. there was another one an hour away, wish i would have checked them out first before deciding.

Man...that's what I've been hearing. I'll wait just hope I don't get rear ended in the meantime. Local stealership said it isn't a safety issue...

WOW at least your dealer is replacing the frame..My dealer along with Toyota said because my 04 frame was "coated" in 2010 under that recall that too bad there's a hole in it now cause it was fine in 2010...Hate to beat a "dead horse" but still a little Pi$$ed off over it.

Find another dealer, they dont know what theyre talking about, or open a case with Toyota. If your frame was coated you should be covered. If it was NOT then youre SOL

So will they still do the recall's if your frame is bad?

Very true!! If ur frame was coated back in 2010 then it's covered for 15 years from the day it rolled off the lot. @wvtradbow, call Toyota again!! My frame was coated in 2011 and I just got mine done a couple months ago. Don't deal with the dealers, from my experience they don't have a clue! Toyota HQ is who you need to contact.

If it was coated in 2010-2011 and your vehicle was registered in a northern state. Try to find a dealer thats done the replacements before, it makes it 100x easier
