    Don’t let it discourage you. Toyota’s are consistently the most reliable vehicles on the market and the Tacoma is no exception. There are a lot of parts in these trucks and it would be impossible to catch every single bad one 100% of the time.

    That said, you made the right decision cancelling your warranty. The trucks have the full warranty coverage under a certain mileage. Mine was under that mileage limit and they still did not try to help me at all. The dealerships are not exactly one with corporate toyota so they will not be keen on honoring a warranty even if you pay for it.

    Lemon law doesn’t care about a warranty though. Good luck!
