What is this actually? I always go to the same tire guy that balances my stuff and it's the Bomb. This time I dropped off all 5 Brand New Wheels and tires, and had them put in Saturday morning. Truck shook like I was driving over railroad ties. There is no weights on the back edge of the wheel on all 5 wheels. Called the shop and they said they were static balanced. Only having weight on the front part of the tire. Is this for real?

They said they did it that way, so I wouldn't have stick weights all over the inside of the rim.

Clearly didn't work lol. Don't look at how many weights I have all over the inside

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I've had Discount tire do that on my steelies with large mud terrains, thought I didn't want weights around the edge for looks. I said I wanted the damn thing to ride well and to hurry up and give me more than a lip service balance job.

Now they say, we don't normally do wheels and tires not bought at the place, so we were doing you a favor. I told him since when I have been going to you guys for 4 years with all stuff I bought outside of the shop. Now because you fucked up your going to tell me that policy.
