My wife and I both have good jobs, and we are trying to leave. We are thinking Michigan. But I would leave If I had a chance.

    back to bone stock.
i'd take that bet. i have a great gig. no public transit, no fuel, no toll..work covers it all.

more people does equal more jobs..again, generally speaking. supply and demand. basic economics. more people means more demand on services, which translates into more jobs. simple.

the only unemployed person i know, unfortunately is my wife :) but she is about to finish nursing school..not so sure how that is gonna play out. there are alot of nurses here. again, more people equals more hospitals..well, no need to repeat it.

the only thing that sucks about my situation..all my friends make GOBS more money than i do. i am the poor one.

Colorado is full. I just checked. Keep on going. Sorry. Just mad at the new laws being passed. I know it's because of transplanted left coast people.

Great to visit. Questionable to live in.

Born in CA and we've been here for a long, long time. Only lived out of CA for 18 months when I went to NC. Don't want to settle here.

yeah i got here may of last year too .... my favorite thing thats so ridicilous about the whole gun debate is you got mag pul leaving the state now costing boulder a bunch of jobs.

then theres morse down in the springs who says its a bunch of "denver extremists" who want him gone when all his funding to try to stay in office is coming from new york.

there are however the good ones like me that move and dont try to bring the same dumbass policies that fucked up california with us.

Yeah the gun debate is a joke, Illegals get in state tuition subsidized by residents, and now they want to increase taxes by $150/person for education. Now the US spends more on education per capita than any other country, and we are like #27 in international standings, why the fuck do they think throwing more money at the problem will make it better?

Housing in CO is getting pretty stupid as well.

Lived in LA my whole life, went up to Corvallis Oregon for 4 years and loved it. It was a great experience and it was a lot of fun being out of my own environment. You just have to get used to the constant rain and very little sunshine, but you're only going away for a few years anyways. Btw, don't hit up the beaches, they suck up there, nothing at all like CA beaches.
