Ok I have to admit that the name Northen Alliance come be to only to annoy NDCouch. We are currently in negotiations in the North Alliance HQ to further our cause and come up with a unique name. This will also lead to declining sales of facial tissue in the state of South Carolina but that is a risk that we are wiling to take.:D

wtf is the point of DST? Buy the time you set all the damn clocks ahead, you're 2 hours late for shit.

No one else in the world deals with this shit. Hell, some time zones in the US don't bother either.... And then go fuck with it even more by changing the time it happens?

You didn't have to deal with 200+ people's calendars and appointments getting fucked up because MS half-assed a patch to deal with the new DST start/stop times.

I think the whole concept is a crock anyway. Who really gives a rats ass about an hour here, an hour there except having to remember to change the time on 40 different appliances around the house. Morons that run this country.......

Hell, I enjoy Daylight Saving Time! The more daylight in the evening the better. We spend most of our time outside partying by the pool. One more hour of daylight before the bugs come out at night and ruin the pool party!

Exactly! And for what really? An extra hour at night? Shit, that's why they make outdoor lights!

I didn't remember to change mine until my mother in law showed up around noon. Luckily my computer and cell phones auto updated. But the stove, microwave, kitchen clock, home phone, and alarm clock didn't. Oh, and I still need to set both car clocks and the stereo clock in the car. And there's probably something else I'm missing that I'll notice in a week or so.

I mean, they run all the news programs about it, have recommendations for getting your sleep schedule adjusted, and things like that for a problem that doesn't even need to exist.

I like having extra daylight, so why not just keep daylight saving time instead of standard time?

I have the flu. Which got me thinking, "the flu"? THE Flu?

Illnesses have gender. The flu is clearly male, as only a guy would give himself a title like that. "The Hulk." "The People's Champion." "The Flu." You never hear anybody call pneumonia "The Pneu." It's clearly feminine.

And now I'm a little upset that I've never had pneumonia.
