    Speaking of things in holes......this is a snippet from our local paper this week:
    CARLSBAD — This Thanksgiving, giving thanks will have special meaning for Burnell Booker.
    Plummeting 80 feet into a sink hole while sitting on his front end loader without getting killed is something to be more than thankful for, he said.
    The 41-year-old road construction worker was pulled to safety after waiting in the hole for more than two hours Wednesday afternoon before help arrived. The ground opened up and swallowed Booker and his machine as he worked at a pit that provides crushed material for the road construction project. The site is about a mile north of the highway.
