I beat the shit out of myself when I was young so now I deal with the consequences. I have a high tolorance for pain and 99% of the time it doesn't slow me down, but every now and then "something" happens and I can barely move. My normal doctor just offers me strong meds and says to take it easy and the surgeon he refered me to in the past wants to filet me.
It happened again last Monday. Went to look at a boat and by the time I got home I was ready to curl up in the fetal position. I've read about doctors called Physiatrists who specialize in determining a whole body solution to pain management so I found one in my area and had an initial meeting last night. We'll see how it works out.

I'm not sure that working out would hurt mine at this point . Two kids and breastfeeding later, the damage is done. Not to mention, I looked in the mirror one day, sighed, and said "Oh how the mighty have fallen." Hubby was walking past and said, "Honey, I hate to break it to you, but they were never 'mighty.'" He got punched for that one.

 

yes, how do you expect us to be part of the conversation or give our opinion, when we don't have comparison points.... its like saying you like more your new grill than your old one without posting pictures, cmon....
