    Too few to list.
My sister took her 2010 4runner for an oil change at Puente Hills Toyota due to time constraints. At 106k miles, the dealer recommended services. She didn't get anything additional though i thought their pricing is quite comical especially the $69.99 license plate bulb change as they claim the LED's were "weak". $129.99 just for the rear diff. Wonder how much more for the t-case and front diff.

No kidding! That's the first thing I noticed. Even if you have zero car skills. Anyone can change the cabin air filter.

I think your sister could have done everything on the list herself, for the price they charged her to replace the cabin air filter. This bill needs a SERIOUS do-over pronto!

Tell her I'll do everything on that list, with OEM parts, for half the price.

I recently bent a wheel on my girlfriend's Camry (18in SE pkg wheel). The stealership i bought my truck from wanted $588 for just the damn wheel. I ended up finding a new one on Ebay for $135. I nearly fell out of my chair when the parts guy quoted me that price.

Sadly, no one comes close to scamming maint services like Yota does. Hell, Porsche is cheaper to service at the dealer.

BMW comes close but then again, we are not talking basic japanese transportation at that point.

And one would think that for $368 bucks and change, they would spell "dissolve" correctly.

Good god I have always been critical of the stealership but this is another level of being crooks! Think of how many poor saps with more money than brains fall for this crap!

Don't mean to sound idealistic but how in the hell can somebody sleep after exorbitant charges like this. The CAF was a steal compared to the battery inspection, at least a part is purchased ( personally I would check and make sure they replaced the filter ). Such a joke, I have seen service managers walking around the waiting areas carrying a dirty CAF looking for some poor woman. They've already removed it, since they overcharge for part they should replace it no charge-new goes in just as easy as old one. I know it's done all the time but that really pisses me off. I wonder if Corporate thinks $142.49 is a fair fee for these 2 items for a loyal Toyota customer bringing their vehicle to the dealer for service. Treat others like yourself, if you don't want it done to you don't do to others.

I can't believe how expensive that is, I thought US prices would be substantially lower. Is that in an expensive part of California?

Right now we have a deal where you get Cabin filter installed and a new engine air fitlter for 60$ CDN. Thats 50$ USD.

Mass air flow service is a crock. I clean them when I do spark plugs on 1GR's for free, I don't even note it so the customer feels like the spark plugs made a larger difference... its 2 screws!

I laughed when you said this, because I was getting my leaf spring recall done and what do I see?......A service Rep. walking with a dirty CAF into the room for children, then showing it to the mother of the children. It caught my attention, because it was so dirty and filled with leaves/grime, he had to hold it horizontal, as he open the child's play room. The CAF are so cheap they should be a complimentary service, they are so inexpensive as mentioned and very simple to replace.

Maybe the service writer just transposed a few digits. And the "lisence" is at least as bad as "desolving". Also, does "harmfull" mean it's not only bad, but full of bad??

Jesus... it took me 5 minutes to change my cabin air filter which was $11 on Amazon. What a joke.
