They would not touch mine with the after market air bags installed. Bastards.

Nope not yet. I need to schedule a weekend to use a friends shop to take the airbags off before bringing it in. Then schedule another weekend to put them back on. It is more about access to a shop and time to do the work than anything. That said, the recall is worth about $1000 in parts and labor so I want to take advantage of it.

I did the TSB (Heavy Duty Leaf Pack) after I bought my 2010....Do you know if the Recall Leaf pack will be of the same as the TSB pack?

I wouldn't call someone who's going to charge you actual money to remove and reinstall airbags a friend.

He is my motorcycle mechanic............The Spring shop wanted 300.00. So I think 125,00 not 150 my bad....is a good price.

I just am wondering if the recall pack has the same strength as the TSB pack.....I like the stiffer ride.

Not the safety airbags. Airbags in the rear to help carry load. Have to be removed in order to install the new leaf packs.

All of its bolted on, but its not standard toyota parts and they do not want to be liable for any failures or problems with them by installing them. There is a reason they dont touch the trucks with them on it and there is a reason why you took them off before hand. I cant blame toyota one bit for this.
