I have a 2020 extended cab and long bed Tacoma and would like to put the Stealth Custom BR6 (17x8.5 -10mm 6x139.7) with KO2 285 70 17 tires. Wondering if the tires will rub or if I need to do a lift or leveling kit. Thanks!

    Enough for now
Absolutely will rub largely from the offset. I would get a CMC/CMR before a lift if you go that route.

also a lift doesn’t prevent a larger tire from rubbing, if you cycle the suspension it will rub even with a lift

Thanks for the advice! I didn’t realize a lift wouldn’t help. I guess that makes sense with the cmc

A lift will make it look better though, if you do go lift, make sure to get aftermarket upper a arms to help with alignment.

285s typically need a high caster alignment, cab mount chop and mild trimming on the front fender liner.
