    Same here.

But I need to clean and repaint my drums, hubs and dust caps before I can have them installed.

My original plan was black. I’m leaning towards the bronze now for sure. Pretty much everything on my truck is blacked out, I think the bronze will break it up nicely. I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan either.

I would have loved to do bronze, but was afraid I wouldn't like it with my quicksand paint.. I went gunmetal as I really didn't want black, and am so happy i went gunmetal. The finish is nice and matte.. So friggin nice

Don't really feel like sifting through this whole thread for the answer to a couple questions if I don't have to.

    1. Options for black paint for the hub center to cover the rust? Do you have to take off the tire to do this?
    2. Any idea of a good touch-up paint for the matte bronze? Wanted to have some on hand for any possible paint chips.

    Thanks in advance!

Got the hubs ready, finally going to get the F5’s on. Tired of staring at them in the garage.

I can’t help you with the touch up paint but I’ll be using matte black Rustoleum Rust Reformer paint on my rear hubs and dust caps. I’ve used it on my rear axle and diff in the past and it’s held up surprisingly well. I used a different kind of rust covering paint on my trailer hitch and will be grinding that off and repainting it with the Rust Reformer... I’ve got lots of flaking and more rust spots popping up. I’m gonna hit most of the rear frame and suspension supports while I’m under there too.

Just did mine today. Wheels on the truck, used Rustoleum flat black. Got the surface rust off with Dremel wire brush attachment.

Your truck must be almost new or you live somewhere rust doesn’t exist. Because that’s a beautiful looking drum I see hiding behind the wheel. I’m super jealous.

From the last time I took my rear wheel off to swap the spacer. FML...

yeah, that’s some rust. Just got mine in September and not a lot of miles as it’s my weekend vehicle. Pretty dry out here in CO as well.
