I am currently running that exact wheel and tire setup on my stock suspension 17 Sport and I only have some minor rubbing on the plastic fender well.

they scratched 3 of mine. Not sure I want to go through the hassle of getting new ones but I’m definitely going to talk to a manager about refunding what I paid the for mounting the tires and touch up paint.

What did you end up doing with your old wheels? I assume you kept them?

Lugs ordered, looking for some assistance. I will be having the lift installed next week, I will be going with a 2" lift front and 1.5" rear (Bilstein 6112's and 5160's setup). Now I am looking to order my tires for my SCS F5 16x8 4.5 BS with 0 Offset. After searching through threads it looks like I will be fine with 265/75/16 with no rubbing or issues. Is anyone running 285/75/16? Looking for some feedback please.

A little trim here and a little hammer smash there, no worries.

any recommendations for a tire shop in the CA east bay area that knows how to mount and balance these wheels without scratching them?

got a extremely slow leak 1psi evey 5 hours or so leak on my newer st maxx tires and looking to have tire removed and patched but not at the cost of a scratched up f5.

I think most places know how to mount a tire without scratching them but techs get lazy or just don’t care. I’d recommend discount tire but make sure they know before hand that if they scratch you’ll be calling corporate if they don’t replace the wheel for you.

they scratched 3 of mine which pisses me off but I don’t have the time to haggle with them. I bought some touch up since it’s not really noticeable in the hub area.
