first off, get rid of those steps. They are such an eye sore.
    Next, get the 3.5” backspacing.

you won’t regret it. Stop fussing about cutting up the truck. It’s gonna look fucking great. Get the 33’s or 35’s and call it good.

No idea what you just said, but I'll look into it and maybe pm you for questions? Completely new to all this. Decided to keep her for as long as I can instead of buying a new truck. Still fond of the look and get people complimenting and asking if she's for sale.

Appreciate the directness lol, needed that. Will take the steps off.

OK, purchasing the F5 matte gunmetal, 16x8/3.5" BS. Thanks all.

I have 17s but am unsure if its the 8.5 or 9 because I bought aftermarket, whats the quickest way to tell? If its "measure it", where are the measurement spots?

There should be markings inside the wheel that say the specs.

I have ordered my F5's (same spec as yours) and my truck is the same year as yours, I have about a 2.5 lift all the way around. Front (2.0" rough country levelling kit with 2020 TRD pro coiloverand strut) rear has a 2" block) trying to decide on a tire. I'm assuming you did a CMC for your 295's do you have any experience with 285?

First let me be clear... 295s with this offset wheels need lots and lots of trimming. As I wheel more and more I find more and more that needs trimmed, and I have an aggressive cab mount chop, have taken off my fender flares, and actually trimmed the metal fender. Because these wheel poke so much, they have a wider turning radius, and you will need more cutting than you would have with the 10mm offset wheels. :sawzall:

With a these specific wheels you will need to do a CMC, hammer the pinch weld, trim the wheel well liner and likely have to also trim a little of the plastic fender flare itself for 285s. With 295s, expect much more needed trimming.

This all depends on if you wheel I guess. I noticed I needed more trimming and finally went for the flareless look after I wheeled in Moab. If you don’t wheel hard, you’ll still find those rubbing spots when you turn hard into driveways etc.

CMC for 295s went from this which was what I thought I needed:

To this: and to be perfectly clear, I still rub ever so slightly with this lift and these wheels/295s on this much of a cab mount chop

Dented fender, where I had already trimmed it and pulled the flares, but still rubbed.
this pic shows where on my aggressive cab mount chop and hammered pinch weld, that I still rub with my lift, these wheels, and the 295s

    Final flareless look:

I do plan a full 2” trim of the fenders to take care of the little rubbing I still find with these wheels and 295s.

Expect a lot of trimming if you wheel or do high speed desert stuff, even for 285s and more for 295s

Hey all -- noob here --
I am trying to stay within my element and sticking to as OEM as possible.
No lift. Full lock. No cutting, no molding, none of that.
I have OEM Mudguards and will likely stick with OEM tire size when I upgrade. (Duratracs or Wildpeaks)

After doing weeks of reading and watching videos - I think I know what I need but I am stiill not sure on what exact wheel size to get from SCS that will fit into all my "rules".

    16 X 8 5 x 150 4.90" +10mm 18lb 9oz
    16 X 8 6 X 139.7 4.50" +0mm 18lb 13oz

Can someone share their experiences with these two sizes? I am looking at the +0mm offset wheels but afraid of rub and such. Any experience with the +10? Not sure what the bolt part means either lol

    Thanks!

    No problem!
For the tires I would say 265/70 would be the biggest stock.

Hopefully others will chime in, too.
