Awesome thank you for that. That’s the way I’m leaning. I don’t think I have the clearance for 285s with my offset without some serious modification

I have a 3rd gen with -25mm offset and 265/75/16... I would say 285s would be a certain no go without cutting

I can finally play too, 16x8 - 25mm with 255/85r16 g003s. Matte dark bronze goes really well with solar octane. 20240316_212051.jpg

I spent along time looking for this kind of picture of -25mm offset with 255s. There is one other in this whole forum as far as I could find. Perfect amount of poke. This is a stock height pro with 3° of Caster and a bmc, had to trim the edge of the bumper and mold the wheel liner back in the front. Not even close to the mudflaps or body mount. When thinking about weight vs cost scs is pretty hard to beat. I personally don't need to spend 3k more to save 2 more pounds. It helps that f5s are the best looking wheel out in my opinion.

My buddy at work has te 37s on his tundra, I like them but not for 5k and honestly not more then f5s.

I agree with this. Couple that with the fact that they offer a few different offsets, sizes, colors, and the centerbore is Toyota specific was really a no brainer for me. Weight savings was a priority for me, so was price point... Light, strong, and cheap are generally not 3 things that marry up very well... Best bang for your buck on this wheel in my opinion.

I agree with you regarding ride comfort. There's at least 65% tread left on mine but they drive like hammered dog ish. I'm going with the Cooper AT3 XLTs next.

I’m also interested in seeing this! I love bronze wheels, just suspect on how well they look on silver.

Is anyone running 265/65/17 tires on 17x8.5 -10 offset on a stock 3rd Gen OR suspension? I'm curious if this setup will rub. Thanks!

In most cases, no rubbing with 265/65/17 tire size. At most, you may need to take off your front mud guard to avoid rubbing at full flex on a heavy loaded Tacoma.

SCS F5 -25 offset. Falken Rubitreks 265/75/16. Stock height (for now). Removed mudflaps, some cutting. Rubs a little - hope raising front with Bilstein 5100 leveling resolves
