Im looking at those Stealth SR8 wheels in the gunmetal color and im having a hard time what size to get once I'm ready to buy. If I go with the 17" versions I'll have to buy new tires with the rims together ($$ ouch) due to having 16" trd off road wheels now. Is the 1" in your opinion look much better and is it worth it to you the extra money? Pics of the SR8 wheels size and tire size would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

IMO depends on the tire size you’re going with. I say 33+ a 17 looks much more proportional but 16s and better for heavier off road. I went with the 17s

265/75/16 or 17 depending on what I decide.

What's your tire size on your 17s?

I know nothing about lifts so take my opinion with a grain of salt. My understanding is that there are more tire options available in 17" than 16". So if you plan on lifting your truck one day, you'll probably want bigger tires too, and wish you went with 17s.

If you plan to keep the stock suspension and you're happy with your current tires, I say go with 16s and save the money. If you're just worried about how 16" looks vs 17", I don't think the extra inch makes a HUGE difference. Not one that is worth the $500-$1000 for new tires. Granted, new tires alone can make a huge difference in looks...

If you aren't sure about a lift, maybe you go with the 17s just to keep that door open down the road. Obviously you can have a lift with 16" wheels too... my point being that I see people complain about the selection of 16s vs 17s.
