It’s not hard at all. Just need to make about a 3/4 inch slit in the grommet.

Did you cut it to the right or left of the harness? Or above the hood latch cable?

Thanks for the heads up on the discount code, ordered. Have a bunch of lights coming, this will make wiring a breeze.

Did you figure this out yet? I just tapped one of the fuses on the interior fuse panel. Some are constant hit and some are ignition dependent.

Yea. I tapped into the headlight switch fuse under the drivers side of dash. All fuses under the hood were hot all the time.

So did you install a ground bus bar or are you just grounding your lights somewhere else?

Just got mine in. Wow what did you all do with the long battery lead? I only need a couple feet on that one.

Haven't gotten any lights in yet to get to that. I have never done a bus bar.

Here is my review and pictures of my install. I purchased the Stech switch system and shortly found out later there are a few others very similar at a lower price. This is just a basic relay fuse and switch system. No extras, made with 14 & 16 AWG wire on 40 amp relays with 30 and 20 amp fuses. I question this but will not be loading it to the max and will be using 15 amp fuses supplied with my lights. I also added a 80 amp resetting fuse on the positive line and a ground bus bar. The positive lead for the system is very long. I cut it down to a foot crimped a new lug on and attached it to the load side of the 80amp fuse. I mounted the switch plate in the over head sunglasses holder. I had to fab a small bracket to hold it in place. This was done with a couple small bolts and double sided tape to hold the switch to the bracket. I attached the red fuse tap to the ACC fuse inside. The switch is on when the truck is on and is pretty bright. Make sure your stickers are centered on the switches or it will effect the operation of the switch. Here
