So my wheelers steelies are all rusted to hell, I took a wire wheel to them and painted them but they still look like shite. Will this effect getting tires balanced at all? If yes, does anyone know where I can get similar steelies? Aka cheap 16’s with the proper offset. Thanks for any help you can provide fellas!

Steelies are very weak, super heavy and exceptionally prone to corrosion. Why would you want to replace with the same? I'd suggest looking for a pair of 2nd hand OEM alloy take-offs for cheap and have a stronger, lighter and corrosion resistant wheels. If your wire wheeling affected the balance, that is a lot of material removed.

When my steelies start to rust I'm just recycling them and finding like-new inexpensive steelies to replace them with :)

Look on Craigslist, I got my dad a set of new take off steelies last year for around $100. Could never bring myself to actual drop an decent money on fancy alloy wheels.

So rather than investing in a long term performance solution for cheap 2nd hand, you throw money at short term, heavy, low performance, low durability solutions that you will throw away and replace with the same.

For comparison stock steelies weigh 32lbs. TRD OR wheels weigh 23lbs. That is a massive difference, especially considering the alloys are stronger. Checking my local craigslist, a set of like new TRD OR take offs is $150.
