How close are your tires to hitting your UCA's with no spacers up front? I saw a local guys rig the other day and with sport wheels and spidertrax spacers he still rubs at full lock.

With the TC 2" arm i don't rub lock to lock but when the tire flexes with low tire pressure it light touches the upper arm uni ball cup. Also when i switch to the new high clearance lower arms they are kinda designed with steering stops. If you've seen the arms you would know what i mean.

My brother is running my old 2'' kit with stock wheels too. When he turns lock to lock his rim rubs the back of the lower arm.

The new chromoly ones right? I'll keep that in mind. I had plans for my truck that a almost exactly how your truck turned out.

Yeah the new race series arms. Its defiantly safer if you hit something hard at full lock. They haven't put the new 2" arms on their site yet but if you call pat at total chaos he can help you out.

    new pup? great looking dog!

we'll probably bring only one this year again...two is a handful on trips like this

we'll be doing a lot of exploration before the event if you guys wanted to join for some overlanding...

    gateway, co>kokopelli>top of the world...beef basin>elephant hill>lockhart basin

beef>lockhart will be at least two nights on the trails..camping in beef basin and lockhart basin at least..there's a bunch of old ruins to explore in beef basin, so we may take an extra day there

the original plans to do the north rim were scratched after seeing more reports on the regions we'll be going into...petroglyphs, cliff dwellings, old townsites and i love the lockhart basin area and am looking forward to an overnight back there..

Wow, truck looks amazing dude. I very much admire this. Very clean, nicely done. Looks like you really enjoy it, too. Good looking dog!

Ps. High dive and up chuck are cool eh? The entire behind the rocks trail was a blast!

Thanks. Ive been following your build thread for awhile. Lots of great picture and ideas. Looks like you guys have some awesome places to wheel. Maybe one day i could make it up there. Moab was a lot of fun but i didnt have enough time to go on all the trails. I really hope i could make it out this year. Looks like theres going to be a good turn out.

    Thanks

Im just waiting for Mike to finish up the shackles. Cant wait to test.

Im really curious to see how Total chaos SUA kit works. It sounds like they are designing a shackles too. I really wonder how close it will be to Defineds Kit.

Beyond sick rig. Very close to my plans for mine.

If I read correctly, is mike making you shackle flips for your sua or just shackles?

Thanks Guys. Ive been driving with Defined's SUA springs, ATO shackle flip kit, and Defined 6'' eye to eye custom shackles. I am really surprised how good the ride is on and off road. The truck also sits at a good height.

Have you noticed yourself getting hung up on your SUA? How much clearance did you loose?

I do hang up on the springs sometimes but not to bad. It is nice being locked front and rear. You will definitely love the up travel if you go SUA. Heres a picture to see the clearance difference. The springs hang down 3 3/4 inches.
