One of these bolt's tip was broken off. Looks like it snapped. I forgot to take a pic before I left the shop I am using to to do the rack, however I did find a parts pic & since this bolt is the one without an ID, I circled it & even drew a pic.... I am hoping someone will tell me that the reason the bolt does not have a part number is not because I have to buy the whole joint, but that Toyota discontinued the part & I can hop right down to my local hardware store tomorrow a.m., grab the bolt or a replacement alternative, have the job all done by the eve & be back in the comfy of my own truck.

I believe the part you are referring to is to the two bolts I removed. Those are regular hex bolts, washers, nuts. These do not have hex heads. Forgive my lack of the proper wordage. I tried to "draw" it & now I'l try to describe it. I keep wanting to call it a thru bolt. It has threads half-ish way up & then a "skirt" (not very clear from the parts diagram) which a fixes on top of the joint plate (45230). The rest is a stud? or straight end, no hex, or anything, non-threaded. See how in the diagram there are no nuts on the top of the ones I circled? & they only go through 45230. The ones that correspond to 90119.... are the two that hold 45219 & 45230 together.

The torque on the hex bolts is not very high, so maybe there is supposed to be some give? If I am correct in that theory, It's as if the bolts in question's sole purpose is a safety mechanism to keep that give from being too much? It just seems that if the intent was to have it tightly in place there would be 4 hex bolts all the way around....
Now they could be welded on from the top, however the fact that there are threads on the bottom is what makes me think I could replace it.... if I knew what kind of bolt it was.... I looked around a little at automotive bolts, but nothing jumped out at me....

The bolts are part of that rubber connection. I've always known it to be called a rag joint.
The bolts aren't sold separately. I think dorman parts makes them.

I think they're called stop pins. If you have it off the truck you may be able to take it in to O'Reilly, AutoZone, Advance and find a coupling disc kit that has the right size pins included.

I really had to soak the shaft with PB Blaster overnight and then get a chisel on it on the bottom side to knock it off so I could put it on the new gear. But I didn't have any problems with those pins.
