Look at the Intermediate Shaft on the steering column Universal Joint.

Intermediate shafts cause this and are quite common on older tacomas.

Before I inspect it, Is that the only thing that could be causing this problem? And would I necessarily be hearing any sounds?

A binding ball joint, bent tie rod, damaged rack all could cause this, but are unlikely.

You can put your hand on the shaft while someone turns it and you'll feel the binding.

Okay, I should also put in there that I have not felt any difficulty in steering as far as power steering

The steering wheel does about 3.6 full turns lock to lock. Is the dead spot repeatable at the same steering wheel position all three times, or only at one tire position? Is the dead spot only observed at the driver's side tire or both tires (video isn't too conclusive)? That should isolate the problem area a bit.
