    3 inch lift.
When I make a sharp turn 70°+ my steering does not return to center on its own. It is a 99 with a 2.7l 5spd 4x4. It came with and still has a 3" lift. ( spacers on the Coil springs) and it riding on31x10.5x15s. Is it a result of the lift, worn components or is this a tacoma thing? This is my first tacoma and first lifted truck. I'm trying to go over everything and maintenance/repair before hunting season starts. So I'm getting a 4x4 tacoma crash course.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like possible worn ball joints/tie rods. That'd be the first thing I'd check. Then delve deeper. Lifted that high increases the wear on those components first off, by a lot. Whens the last time they were replaced?

Lack of caster can cause this. Excessive toe etc. Has it had an alignment performed since the lift?

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Cheap lift, lousy alignment.

It 'may' not be possible to get a proper alignment w/o additional parts, like UCAs.

A good alignment shop will be able to fill you in on that or any worn components that need replacing.
