Hello 2nd Gen types. Is there a way to adjust steering end stops (lock to lock) in the rack and pinion in my basic 2015 Tacoma?
I have fitted (with good clearances) a larger anti-roll bar for an SR2 in my basic taco. The wheels I have (17x7.5) interfere with the fat anti-roll bar (and lengthen turning radius). I want to try this anti-roll bar to see if this longer turning radius is acceptable. I don't want to ruin the wheels. So, is there an adjustment for steering end stop. Thanks for you ideas!

Your steering stop is the knuckle hitting the lower control arm. The rack does not stop it from turning. The rack will only turn to a certain extent. It's not like there is a never ending gear in there.

Like bebop said, there are stops on the on the lower control arm and the knuckle that come together to prevent the steering from going any further.

Thanks Bebop. Perhaps I will be able to temporarily add a shim to knuckle or swing arm on both sides.
Since this is a modification which may not be acceptable, I may just mark the steering at the limits.
    I appreciate the quick reply.

Thanks moondeath. I will just mark the steering wheel for the test.
