    Hi, I need the Steering Intermediate Shaft for my 2005 Toyota Tacoma 4L v6. What aftermarket do part you recomends?

    I highly recommend OEM over aftermarket. Place a Dorman shaft next to an OEM shaft and you'll be shocked. It looks like a toy.

    All stock, baby!
    The shaft shown in the picture is the upper shaft; normally, it’s the u-joint on the lower shaft that goes bad (the one that’s in the engine compartment). It provides the crumple feature that keeps the steering wheel from being shoved at you in a front-end collision. Definitely recommend OEM for that due to the safety concern.

    What is the issues with your intermediate shaft? I followed the u-joint replacement from the forum for less that $20. Good as new.
