After replacing upper & lower control arms due to worn bushings, CV axles due to blown boots, and a fresh alignment, I find that my turning radius to the left is greater than turning to the right. In other words, I can make a tighter right turn than left.

Steering wheel is centered perfectly when driving straight. However, I can turn it to the right 1 1/2 turns, but I can only turn it to the left 1 1/4 turns.

Over the past few months, I've noticed a slight vibration in the steering wheel when applying pressure to turn it, no vibration when at rest.

    Gen2 4WD with 220k miles.

Do I need a new steering rack?

How do the threads on the tie rod ends look under the truck, are there "close to" the same number of threads on both sides? First thought is the rack is internally off center and they moved one side in to get a good alignment. Has the rack ever been fiddled with or replaced?

The alignment tech said the rack was "a little loose", I think he mentioned the bushings that mount the rack to the frame. But it seems pretty solid to me driving it. No tire wear or wobbly steering or anything like that.

While you're checking TRE's, check it out like this. Look for any signs anything is off center or out of order. At about :037 I have someone turning the wheel and you can see a **little** movement of the rack is okay, more than what you see there I'd replace the bushings. But I doubt it would cause more on one side than the other, and moving rack would feel sloppy on the best case and undriveable in the worst case.
