Are you talking about removing the rubber isolaters? I'm not familiar with this coil over system. If I can I'll take out both isolaters. I'm not sure if one has to be installed so it's not metal to metal?

I think it's just caked up mud in the top of the shock mount. I'll have to double check. I see what your talking about in that picture tho.

I appreciate the help fellas. I woulda been lost without you hahaha!:goingcrazy:

I mean take the lift spacer off and replace with something better. I dont see any extra isolators in the pic.

lift looks too big, like others said the cv angle looks wrong and that is whats messing stuff up.

I agree the lift is too much. I just went and talked to the owner and his mom and they both said while driving it felt fine. No vibes or anything before the ball joint failed. So it was working properly before. (Too much lift causing severe stress on the joints causing them to fail very likely) but there was no binding before. I'm sending the axle back tomorrow and if it does it again with this new axle I will try removing the isolaters. Still binding I will remove the coil spacer. I'll post back in about a week to update. Many thanks so far with the suggestions.

I'll have to take a pic of my Tacoma's lift. Its prob got a 3-4" cap on the coil spring and the CV joint is no where near the angle yours is.

Thanks, It wasnt with a bow unfortunately but still a nice buck. My bow season starts Aug 30:)

...I just changed the oil on my tacoma and I noticed theres a 3" or so drop member on the frame...My cv joints are basically straight and not all angled like what you posted I still havent got the pics yet but I will. I think you need to get the angle fixed or its just going to eat up the cv axle again.
