    Greetings all,

Having some LBJ broken bolt woes (7 out of 8 broke) so looking into getting a new steering knuckle.

Local salvage yard has a 1996 4runner (JT3HN87R6T0046450) that pulled the UBJ, knuckle, hub and guard for me. They say it will work on my 2004 Tacoma (5TEWM72N54Z355333)

It is my only vehicle and the yard is 60 miles away, so I can bike and need to borrow a car / rent one to get out there. Just want to make sure that this is worth the trip. This is my first time really delving this deep into front suspension parts and not 100% sure compatibility.

Thank you for the advice / knowledge in advance!

You'll need to make sure that if your truck had ABS then the donor truck also has ABS. Other than that, I believe they will match up.
Bumping because I'm thinking of doing the same but an ABS donor to non-ABS
