    Basically. The clunk is def still there. I seem to have eliminated one type of clunk.

    I recently put in a rack from NAPA. The first one I took home (top one in pic) had this issue with the tubing, it had not been bent correctly. The U looking bend was not big enough so there wasn't enough room to get the rubber bushing and bracket onto the rack that gets tightened to the frame. Also, one of the bends resulted in a real flat section of tube. I had to take it back and the second one was much better. My advice - take a good look at the replacement before you drive home with it.
