    Clock Volt meter/LSPV Delete/Hyundai 16’s/FP gauge/after 9months of wrenching ZERO oil leaks
    Naw
    Racks are serviceable
But inner seals under pressure when replaced
    Not a ‘tool bench’ job
I saw some vids and said no way, I’m taking rack off and taking to RM shop

Look for vendors in your area
Usually these RM shop’s specialize in drive axles and steering racks
Was 4yrs ago, no issues/leaks with 01 Forester rack……28k miles since RR
    $200
Typically, inner ties are included with the rebuild

Me too except I had my rack replaced and it seems worse. I felt the u joint and as far as I can tell there is no play in mine but I’m thinking maybe upper control arm bushings
