I noticed it twisted on the first 1/4 turn, this is becoming a 500+ dollar job and I cant imagine what a shop would have charged me.

When putting the r&p back in, put it in with the steering shaft input facing you, then once it's in place rotate it 180° so it all lines up. I wrestled mine for 20 minutes before trying that, and it went right in.

Ugh! I am planning a whole front suspension redo, lift, ecgs, motor mount reinforce, etc. Now it looks like I better have a PS hose on hand. Do both PS hoses do this, or just the high pressure hose?

There are no left handed nuts for your tie rods.

Another important note when re installing the rack. The two bolts that hold it in must at the very least be torqued to spec. If not, then the rack will move and throw your alignment out.

For me it was only the high pressure one. The rubber return line was much more forgiving. If you mess it up though, napa is where it's at. Toyota only sells the feed/return line as one unit for $230+ whereas napa has them individually.

Jeez! Everything is $100 on these trucks. At this rate, it's going to be about $1,000/inch of lift. LOL

I got lucky with mine. I got a new frame a few months ago, and the drivers side bolt was reinstalled upside down.

If you need to get your truck back on the road you could put some grade 8 all thread in there with a nut and washer on each end until you get your bolt :notsure:
