    Hey all,
New to the forum and first time Tacoma owner. I have a 2020 trd sport. I felt a rattle in the steering while going over washboard roads. Took the cover off and found this loose. I’m assuming it should not be loose. Am I correct and could this be causing my issue?

I should have clarified. It’s the black cover at the floor board where the steering goes through the firewall.

Yeah, that would be going in under the manufacturers warranty and getting replaced or repaired correctly.
