    Hello all,
I've been lurking around for a while. I've tried performing a search on the site before asking but didn't find any remedies or situation that helped me. I know there are a lot of knowledgable people on here and was hoping someone has experienced something similar and can point me in the right direction.
Information: purchased a 2015 Tacoma 4x4 4D in early June from a private owner. Truck came previously lifted with the RC 4 inch lift (don't bash, I know). It had 33 inch mud tires, which were too loud for my liking. Has Raceline Raptor 18x9 rims. I always go through the entire vehicle upon purchasing and perform all maintenance changes (still working through them now).
Maintenance provided so far: replaced all 4 tires with 265/70r18 all-terrains (have had balanced twice thinking it was out of balance, which led to noticing the driver side hub assembly was bad, so replaced driver hub, new front rotors and brake pads, coolant flush, front/transfer case/ rear differential fluid change, replaced spark plugs, oil change, filter, cabin, etc..
Issue: Truck rides noticeably smoother, however there is a rotational sound that is correlated with my speed (specifically between 20mph-50mph). Above that it goes away, probably due to speed and rotations occurring. Also, between 45-55 mph my steering wheel begins shaking and it is visible within the cab.
    Suggestions or thoughts?
    Thanks in advance

Wheel balance, driveshaft u joints or carrier bearing, possibly passenger wheel bearing is shot as well.

thanks! I've had tires balanced twice, so I'll move on to the carrier bearing / u joints. I'll also take a look at the passenger wheel bearing.

You can also rotate the tires from front to back and see if the vibration moves around. Sometimes a slightly bent rim can cause the issues you describe and balancing doesn't always catch it

Is there a vibration that occurs with the rotational sound?
I can't tell from your OP if you removed the lift or just replaced the tires. Could be driveline angles, carrier bearing misalignment, lots of other things.
If it's only a sound, then I'd say start with tires or wheel bearing. Maybe transmission? Manual or AT? Lots of things rotate on a Tacoma, so it's hard to give better advice without more info.
You also didn't mention if you've had a recent alignment. Bad alignment can eat up a new tire and make it louder quick.
My intermittent steering wheel shake was cured by replacing the worn lower control arm bushings.
