I vote for the wheel balancing mod. Took care of my over 60 shake.

mini antenna... I'm getting to it! Sheesh!
Hi folks! I just wanted to update this thread...

As time went on things got worse and worse, I took it to a friend of mine's shop and he agreed it was the rotors. I bought a set of Centric flat faced premium rotors and some Hawk pads and had them installed last week. The vibes are gone and the truck brakes really smoothly at all speeds now. Whew!

Its a real shame that these OEM rotors went off so quickly... I first started feeling vibration at around 17k miles and it gradually got worse until I started feeling braking performance go off at 27k. I made them last as long as I could. We do have a lot of hills here in north LA, but I engine brake as much as I can. They simply should've lasted much longer than this.

On the other side... my father has a GMC truck very similar in size and style to my Tacoma. he has over 77k on his rotors and FIRST set of pads! hes in flat flat flat old Texas though. ;)

I hope this set of brakes will give me at least 50k miles.

Next up new FN Konig Countersteer wheels and Duratrac tires!!! Can't wait!
