Really happy with how this turned out. Short of replacing the whole steering wheel this is the best alternative I could come up with. I find that not having to reach for my phone or reach for the stereo display to answer a call is crucial to driving safely. I have a double din head unit with wireless android auto.

    I started with this.

I created a 3D model that I printed and attached to steering wheel behind the airbag.

Here you can see better where it is attached.

With the Wheelskins leather cover on my steering wheel it made it even more of a bad idea or maybe impossible to use one of the wrap around the wheel remotes without modifying it.

The 3D model is available and free to use on printables.com
